Screen-printing
The first step is the design:
For your design or logo to be printed onto your chosen item, our designer's use a specialised graphic design computer programme, which enables us to reproduce designs into a black and white image with colour separations, this is then printed onto a clear film.
The second step is screen exposure:
• Screens are coated in emulsion, specially dried ready to expose the stencil.

Stencil and screen are placed on a special light box, subjected to UV light.

The screen is then washed out leaving the design visible. It then has to go through a drying process, after this it is ready for the next stage.
The third step is setting up:
The screens are placed onto a carousel arm and set for the item to be printed.
This is a specialised job - the design, if more than one colour has to be micro-adjusted and test run.
Finally, the printing:
With the colours you have requested, the screen is filled with ink, pulled down onto the item to be printed and a tool called a squeegee is used to push a controlled amount of ink through the design and on to the item, thus leaving the design printed. Once the desired design is printed the item is removed and placed on a moving belt, passing through a tunnel of heat (dryer), the ink is then cured.
Screen printing is dependent on a number of factors; we can only print on a flat surface, so joins or seams are a no go. Thick padded garments such as jackets and coats could move after the first print so generally only a 1 colour print is possible.
No job too big, no job too small!
Embroidery:
We offer an embroidery service too. The cost of this is subject to a number of possibilities; The type of design, number of stitches and the quantity. A quote can be obtained by contacting us and letting us see the design.
